Development Manager – Disaster Preparedness Project

About the role

World Vision Vanuatu is seeking a Project Manager to lead a new disaster preparedness initiative on Tanna. The role reports to the Portfolio Manager and will ensure high‑quality delivery of project activities in line with the organisation’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, monitor and report on project activities within Tanna province.
• Manage project budgeting and ensure delivery on time and within budget.
• Matrix‑manage programme staff, providing capacity building, performance monitoring and day‑to‑day operational support.
• Collaborate with provincial stakeholders and communities to deliver relevant, high‑quality programmes.

Required profile

• Qualified and experienced professional with a strong motivation to work in humanitarian contexts.
• Ni‑Vanuatu national, with a commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners and communities.
