Project Officer – CHILD Project

About the role

World Vision Vanuatu is seeking two dedicated Project Officers to support the CHILD (Change, Hope, Inclusion, Love and Development) project, which aims to reduce violence against children across Shefa, Sanma and Tanna islands. This fixed‑term position offers the chance to work directly with vulnerable communities, partner organisations and local leaders to deliver impactful programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Project Manager and ensure alignment with project design.
• Implement project activities, fostering strong community understanding and participation.
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with community members, leaders and church groups.
• Monitor project activities continuously and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Contribute to safeguarding efforts for children and adults in project areas.

Required profile

• Qualified and experienced professional with a strong motivation to work in humanitarian development.
• Ni‑Vanuatu nationals, including women, men and people living with disability, are highly encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and adapt to challenging environments.
