Project Officer – Vanuatu (National Position)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join IsraAID’s growing team in Vanuatu, overseeing strategic development and positioning of the organisation across protection, health, nutrition and WASH sectors. The Project Officer will support implementation, coordination and learning for programmes delivered throughout the islands.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of IsraAID Vanuatu’s programmes in line with approved plans, budgets and donor requirements.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day project activities, maintaining regular communication with project teams, partners and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress against work plans, identify implementation challenges and escalate issues to the Project Manager or Country Director.
• Assist with tracking project expenditures, preparing internal, donor and project reports and ensuring timely submission.
• Support the development and use of monitoring tools, collect and analyse programme data, and contribute to learning and reporting.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with local partners, communities and government stakeholders, and support partner capacity strengthening.
• Contribute to proposal development, concept notes, budgets and identification of funding opportunities.
